ROSS WILLIAMS
FOR MAYOR

A TRUE INDEPENDENT

Experienced, Trusted, Committed

“Together with our  community, I have the drive and energy to lead my team on a united council. I am solely motivated by the needs of the community”. Ross Williams

OUR COMMUNITY - MY PRIORITY

A True Independent

Ross is a passionate Hunters Hill local who continues to fight for our independence and right to local democracy and governance.

“Building local community spirit and sense of place through the various clubs, associations and volunteer groups is critical to our vibrant and engaged area” Ross said.

I have fought on several occasions to preserve our local democracy and unique character – heritage, built and natural environment, tree canopy, bushland, gardens, our low-density neighbourhoods, and against inappropriate development.

Never affiliated with any political party, and I believe they should play no part in local government. Local issues should be decided locally.

“ Ross Williams is non-aligned, free-thinking and passionately committed to his community. Over the last term, he has had to fight hard to ensure there is transparent decision making and our community needs are prioritised.”

Victoria Davidson

(Independent State Candidate 2023)

Valuing Our Municipality

The Hunters Hill Municipality holds a unique place in our history as the Australia’s oldest garden municipality.  Its heritage and conservation precincts need proper protection and the constant focus of council.  We are the custodians of many built and natural heritage features including a spectacular treed landscape and these values need to be promoted and maintained.

Ross can frequently be found spending his time cleaning up the local area, as he takes great pride in his community and municipality.
